Procell Microchanneling Aftercare
Procell Microchanneling activates a powerful collagen renewal response beneath the surface of your skin. During the first 24 hours, your skin is in a highly active repair phase. Proper aftercare protects your investment, supports healing, and maximizes long-term results.
-
Your skin barrier is temporarily more vulnerable during this time.
Please avoid:
• Touching the treated area
• Contact with phones, pillows, bedding, or fabrics
• Applying any products not provided during treatment
• Makeup on treated areas
• Direct sun exposureEven minimal contact can introduce bacteria or irritation while microchannels are still open.
Mascara or lip products on untreated areas are fine.
-
Once the initial window has passed:
You may apply:
• Broad-spectrum SPF 30+Avoid:
• Saunas, steam rooms, hot showers
• Intense workouts or heavy sweating
• Pools, hot tubs, or ocean exposure
• Makeup on treated areas for 24 hours
• Direct sun exposure without protectionHeat and sweat increase inflammation and can interfere with the controlled healing response we are aiming for.
Hydration is Important: Hydration plays a crucial role in the cellular renewal process. Keep your skin consistently hydrated and moisturized in the days following your treatment session. Do not allow the skin to become excessively dry, as this can impede the healing process and compromise your results. If you experience dryness or tightness in the days or weeks after treatment, additional post-treatment hydrating masks are available at Glow Up Studio
